    UJAMAA (Swahilii for extended family, brotherhood and coopted to mean cooperative economics) is a Social Platform where Black Canada interact and transact.    Where Black Canada network as Individuals, Non-Profit Organizations, and Companies to engage in business, and build our Communities.    UJAMAA is the online platform that facilitates Cooperative Economics among Black Canadians.    Our logo symbolizes money circulating within Black Communities producing increasing wealth

    Group Economics can be defined as one group of people who have a common economic interest. That group agrees to actively and consciously pursue that economic interest together to create a sustainable and secure economy for themselves.

    The Black Economy and ecosystem lives on UJAMAA.   It facilitates easy, no-cost marketing, and client support & feedback, for continuous business development.  UJAMMA is not a replacement for other Social Media.

     

     

    We collect an affordable, annual usage fee to cover the operational costs and fund additional development projects.  Our fee structure follows the philosophy, little from many, adds up to much, to ensure that everyone can participate and contribute to the development of Black Communities.

     

    Fees

    Companies – $100 per year (Marketing Expense)

    Non-Profit Organizations – $75 per year (Marketing Expense)

    Individuals – $25 per year

     

    UJAMAA is a Social Enterprise and at least thirty-five percent (35%) of net income will be donated to a Community-controlled fund for distribution to other efforts and projects.
